About us

20 years and counting of CCS!

It started with a van (& crossed fingers!)

Twenty years ago, Anthony and Julie Nicholls purchased a farm supplies delivery business.  From the sales in the van, the business grew and grew to the size it is today.  Now, it has multiple vans delivering across the county full time as well as several people working in the country store.  They credit the success of the business to their ability to be who they are and the fact that they care about their customers.  They are passionate about giving excellent customer service and offering the personal touch, using their wealth of experience to help and advise customers.

The Cornwall Countryside Supplies Team

Ant

Anthony Nicholls

Director
RAMA (formerly R-SQP)

Anthony has been in farming all of his life and his family have been farming the land in Cornwall for generations. For many years he has been beef farming at Eastleigh and was heavily involved in the Young Farmers movement. Shearing sheep and relief milking helped subsidise the farm until 2004 when the opportunity arose to establish Cornwall Countryside Supplies. “The business origniated as a van delivery service but thanks to a dedicated team and loyal customers we have now opened a country store where most products can be acquired.” Anthony is at the store and is able to offer advice on country life and farming practices and is a certified R-SQP and so able to advise on all VPS medicines.
